Our town is conveniently located at the junction of Highway 2 and Highway 519,

east of the beautiful Porcupine Hills and is an excellent hub location, close to all

major tourist sites in Southwest Alberta.

 

Granum is a community with a rich history.

The town's original name was "LEAVINGS"

where cattle were loaded onto trains to leave for eastern markets
